The Bishop, at the request of the Prior Provincial, has proved as parish administrator for Saint Thomas Aquinas parish. Father Dominic Bump will be able to help me in July and for part of August.
I started the south beach plan, as I mentioned. Two weeks in, I'm down 18 pounds, and had my meeting with the doctor, who is very happy with my progress both with the weight, and with the long-term improvement of my blood sugar.
Things remain crazy busy. I will try to give more information at a further date, but I need to keep up with what is going on.
